Cajun vegetable & beef soup

Feel free to add any frozen vegetables you like but I add the following to this soup.

1 bag of frozen onions

1 bag of frozen broccoli

1 bag of frozen cauliflower

1 bag of frozen lima beans

1 bag of frozen corn

1 bag of frozen sweet peas

64 oz bottle of vegetable juice

2 (32 oz) boxes of beef broth

28 oz can of diced tomatoes

6 oz can of tomato paste

6 cloves of garlic, minced

6 medium potatoes, cubed

Half a head of cabbage, thinly sliced

2 lbs of beef stew meat

2 bay leaves

2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning

1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon of salt

1 tablespoon of black pepper

2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon of onion powder

1 tablespoon of garlic powder

1 tablespoon of celery salt

1 cap of liquid crab boil (Louisiana Fish Fry, Zatarains, or another brand of your choice)

Add all of your ingredients into a large pot and bring to a boil except the tomato paste.  Put the tomato paste into a bowl and cover it with water and start mixing it up. Once the mixture is the consistency of ketchup, add it to the pot. Once the soup starts to boil, cover and cook over a low heat for 3 hours or until the meat is tender. Stir occasionally.  For a smaller pot of soup, cut the ingredients in half.  This soup freezes well too.  Enjoy!
